The Tower Was Too Easy to Kill

this game is more about your teammates responding and you playing reactively.

You can teleport to any tower, which isnt something you can do in other mobas.

The tower still attacks an enemy if they attempt to damage you

In this game, the biggest danger is having a venge or someone tp to a lane if you dive too far, outnumbering you and punishing a mistake.

i second this..towers are nerfed way too much.

It's called tower diving. It can happen. If you ward the side jungle lane then you should see it coming. No wards? Your fault. If the enemy dives you and you have no escape...DON'T run away from the tower. Run around the tower so they continually take damage and do your best to ensure mutual destruction.

Heaven forbid games being different.....Instead of complaining about it take advantage of it and tower dive yourself.

YOU protect towers in this game. Not the other way around. Pretty sure it's intentionally designed this way to keep pressure on you to defend your T1s and T2s.

They can still do damage if you stun-lock the enemy under a tower that's targetting them. In fact, multiple times, I've gotten multi-kills BECAUSE my tower just spammed at an enemy despite them not attacking me within range.

DotA's more of a Tower Defense game in the laning phases than anything. Just keep your tower healthy and stop that freaking NP from backdooring it.

I'll dive them lvl 2 as CM with no mana and just a couple of Ironwood Branches :^)

For real, though, it's really easy to mess up a dive and end up biting off WAY more than you can chew, like trying to 1v1 a lvl 3 Earthshaker under HIS tower. The OP probably doesn't know how to abuse enemies' poor early game or constant pushing. Take Spectre for example. Her lvl 3 is complete garbage in terms of survivability, so you can easily abuse this by taking a kill-lane support like CM or Lina and ganking her at lvl 3, even if it means tower-diving. You'll probably get a kill out of it with proper CC-chaining and constant damage.

Yes it isn't the easiest thing to do early with most heroes but the point is that the enemy have the same towers so it's not like it's any handicap to a player specifically unless their playstyle is to fault.

The towers are useless here they can still kill you and run away and the tower wont even damage them down to 80%

A Juggernaut (who is liek a totally OP hero kappa) tried to do the same to poor Dazzle (me) in a recent match. Juggernaut could not. I just ran around in a circle around the tower. Tower damaged him down to 0%. Jugg went 2/7 trying to hug our towers to death.

The towers in thie game are focused on map control rather than protection because they grant vision, true sight, and allow you to teleport to them so making towers more focused on control rather than defending. If towers could also defend themselves extremely well and/or were difficult to take down games would last absolutely way to long. For example look at the year beast brawl last spring when there was a tower flak mechanic. That mechanic, if used properly, become pretty unfair as hitting every unit as well as slowing them by 35% could turn any fight or push under it around very quickly. If the year beasts weren't there or the teams hadn't focused their picks on pushing above all else then the game wouldn't have been nearly as fun or even quick.

in lol u can tower dive easy as well...even easier sometimes
and especially minions/creeps in dota do more dmg and more aggro than in lol...
and u have woods juke spots

Tower dive no tower dive...... it all realy depends on your team mates.. if there skills ain't up to pare your entire time will be tower dived and killed and then BAM fighting a whole team of level 15 when your team is level 6's. How do you solve this problem ..... well dota isn't for you try SMITE F2P and all of the annoying trollish kills that every one keeps saying is "strategy or team work" dosn't exsit as much. Towers are to be feared even at level 20 (which is max) The maps are so big you have to 2v2 or 1v1 in a lane so no more of that 5v1 gank crap xD I love both, DOta for the challenge and SMITE for actual tactic means. And there are differnt modes and maps. Not just the same map all the time. Arenas (striahgt cage match) 2 lane. 3 lane 1 lane. 1 lane (only can buy items if you die making it not a bad thing to die cuz then you can outgun other people) just gotta find the right game for you. I play SMITE for the online and DOTA for the friendly matches.
